ABSTRACT

The elderly population is increasing worldwide and elder abuse is seen at a significant rate in emergency cases. Abuse can be seen in the form of physical, psychological, sexual, financial and neglect. Clinical diagnosis of abuse is not always easy and radiological findings are useful in diagnosis. This review discusses emergency radiology information in elder abuse.
