ABSTRACT
The liver requires detailed anatomical knowledge for accurate radiologic evaluation due to its complex vascular architecture, segmental organization, and biliary drainage system. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the macroscopic anatomy of the liver, Couinaud segmentation, vascular anatomy, and biliary system. In addition to normal anatomy, commonly encountered anatomical variations are discussed.
Keywords:
Liver, Couinaud segmentation, portal vein, hepatic artery, biliary system
