ABSTRACT
Although musculoskeletal tuberculosis accounts for only a small proportion of all tuberculosis cases, it presents with a chronic, mostly monoarticular pattern involving the spine, sacroiliac and peripheral joints. Delay in diagnosis and treatment, it may lead to deformity, disability, and permanent loss of function.
