ABSTRACT

Child abuse is a serious problem that can be life-saving with early diagnosis in emergency radiology. In emergency radiology practice, careful and early detection of findings indicating suspicion of abuse is life-saving. Physical abuse most commonly present with cranial region, skeletal system and organ injuries. It is a legal obligation to accurately report suspicious findings and notify the relevant units.
