ABSTRACT

Soft tissue infections and infestations, which can be encountered frequently, are considered as non-traumatic musculoskeletal emergencies as they may result in limb loss or sepsis due to incorrect/delayed treatment. Since there are not always specific findings at the time of first visit to the hospital, imaging methods are used in diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
